1. Agreement to Terms

By using the Finvera Global website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

For client engagements, a separate engagement letter may set out the specific scope of work, fees, and responsibilities. If there is any conflict between these Terms and your signed engagement letter, the engagement letter will take priority.

2. Our Services & Engagement

Finvera Global provides accounting, bookkeeping, personal tax, corporate tax, payroll management, and incorporation & business setup services.

The specific services we provide will be confirmed in writing before work begins. For most client engagements, our engagement letter will outline the applicable scope, fees, and responsibilities.

3. Client Responsibilities

To help us provide our services effectively, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and timely information and documents.

  • Respond promptly to requests for information or clarification, particularly when filing deadlines apply.

  • Review documents and information we prepare before they are filed or submitted and notify us of any errors or concerns.

Delays or inaccuracies in information provided by you may affect our ability to complete work or meet deadlines. We are not responsible for delays or late filings caused by information that was incomplete, inaccurate, or not provided on time.

4. Fees & Payment

Our fees are based on the scope of services agreed with you before work begins. We do not charge hourly fees with unexpected invoices.

Payment amounts, schedules, and methods will be specified in your engagement letter or invoice.

Late or unpaid fees may affect our ability to continue providing services.

5. Confidentiality & Professional Limitations

We treat your financial and personal information as confidential and handle it in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We will not disclose your information except where necessary to provide our services or where disclosure is required by law.

Our services and advice are based on the information you provide to us. We cannot guarantee specific outcomes, including the amount of a tax refund or exemption from a review by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).

Tax laws and regulations may change after our work is completed, and we are not responsible for changes that occur after the applicable work has been completed.

6. Website & Intellectual Property

The content of the Finvera Global website, including its text, design, branding, and other materials, belongs to Finvera Global unless otherwise stated.

You may browse and share links to our website, but you may not copy, reproduce, modify, or reuse our website content or branding without our permission.

7. Termination & Limitation of Liability

Either you or Finvera Global may end a client engagement with reasonable written notice.

If an engagement ends, you remain responsible for fees for services completed up to the termination date. We will provide documents or records that you are entitled to receive, subject to applicable requirements.

To the extent permitted by law, Finvera Global's liability for a claim related to our services is limited to the fees paid for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim.

8. Governing Law & Changes

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable within Ontario.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
